Start a Game of Connect 4
You'll need a Web3 "wallet" to connect. Don't worry, it's not difficult to setup, and ei8hts games are totally free to play! If you need to setup a wallet and don't know how, check here.
Your favorite classics, reimagined
ei8hts brings a fresh twist to classic games by incorporating web3 technology that lets you play them in new and exciting ways. Our games are built using blockchain technology and use special tokens called Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). This means each game is unique, and you have full ownership of any assets you earn while playing.
We're still in our closed Alpha testing stage (join our Discord to be a part of it!) and will add many new features in the coming months, so stay tuned for updates as we continue on our journey to reimagine your favorite classic games!
Getting Started
Get a compatible wallet
Option 1: Sequence (Easiest) Option 2: Metamask (Crypto-native)

Connect your wallet
Connect whichever wallet you previously setup.

Starting a Game
Now that you’re connected, you can start a new game.
To start a new game, click on the “Connect 4” card below.
Select “1 Player” or “2 Player”.
If you select "1 Player," you'll immediately begin playing against an AI opponent.
If you select "2 Player," you'll be prompted to select an "Entry Fee", and some other game options such as Time Per Player and Grid Size.
This prompt allows you to set an entry fee for the game. Anyone who wishes to join your game must pay this fee. The winner of the match will get the loser's entry fee deposited into their wallet.
For now we’ll select “0” and click on “Create Game.” This will create a free-to-enter game.
Invite a Friend
Now the game has been created and you’ll be given an invite link so you can invite your friends to play against you.
Copy that link and send it to your opponent.
Joining a Game
Once you receive an invite link from a friend simply press “Join” and follow the process of connecting a wallet if you haven't done so already.
Start Playing!
Now that you’re in the game you can begin playing Connect 4 on ei8hts.
When it's your turn, pick the column you want to place your piece in and click on it.
The first player to get four chips of their color in a row wins!
